We are The Gateway Southern Cruisers.

We Are

We are a riding club. Specifically we are Chapter #47 of the Southern Cruisers Riding Club serving members in the greater St. Louis area. As such we follow the Constitution of the Southern Cruisers Riding Club.  Please follow this link and read the information provided there carefully, prior top signing up.

Our members come from a variety of backgrounds and geographical areas, on both sides of the river. This diversity affords us the enjoyment of meeting and riding with folks from all walks of life. Having members from all over the area also provides us with inside information on all the best roads around. We are not brand-specific. In our eyes, it's not WHAT you ride that matters, it's THAT you ride. So if you ride, you are welcome in the Gateway Southern Cruisers.

We enjoy getting together to explore the roads of this great area while enjoying some camaraderie, and of course meals. We are often referred to as the "eating club with a riding disorder" because most of our rides include a "special" destination for lunch, dinner, whatever (sometimes that means PIE).

Most of our rides are single day outings of approximately 100-200 miles. We have several "start off" points around the area, and can always accommodate picking someone up along the way. In addition, we occasionally put together an overnighter. We also encourage as many members as possible to attend the national rally in Memphis every year.

At a National level, the primary charity of the SCRC is St Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Locally, we are involved with and support a variety of charitable causes and fund raising activities.

    We are not an internet club for motorcycle enthusiasts (but we do make extensive use of the internet to communicate)

    We are not an M/C
