We've been wanting to get in a ride down one side of the river and up the other for some time. The St Genevieve Jour De Fete provided an excellent opportunity to do this.

Starting out Mo agreed to to try out the back seat of the trike (for photo purposes only).
Little did any of us know that by the end of the day this seat was gonna look like a good option for him!

Along the way, just a little north of St Gen, we stopped for a photo op against the backdrop of some beautiful Missouri scenery.

Somebody left a directional arrow, just for DC

Then it was time to make contact with "The TRIBE"...
They are our neighboring chapter to the South and we were meeting up at St Gen

Time to roll... at this point the HellBitch (Mo's bike) had already been throwing fits
she looks so peaceful and friendly here

After meeting up at Mc Donald's and extricating ourselves from a conversation with a guy who said he could make a VLX (Honda 600) sound like a Harley in about 15 minutes (strange duck) one of the Tribe members led us through town and found is a great FREE parking spot about a block from the activities!

Then it was time to begin the search for FOOD!!!!

WE FOUND IT!!!!

I'm not sure what deep-fried Twinkies qualifies as... snack? dessert?

Then it was time to move on down the road... we were going down to cross over into Illinois and the two chapters would separate and go our own ways home

Ten miles South of St Gen... the HellBitch decided she had had enough!

Well.... hours later, after a few of us took a hard fast ride to Mo's and GreenIz and Mo limped the bitch back to St Gen, we ended up taking her back to Mo's place in a trailer...

It would be WEEKS before she saw pavement under those wheels again...
