"The nation which forgets
its defenders will be itself forgotten.."
Calvin Coolidge
Our nation has a proud heritage of hero's who go forth and defend our freedoms, often at the cost of their own lives. It is in remembrance and honor to those brave men and women, and those who returned to tell their tales, that the traveling memorial wall traverses the country... lest we forget!
On May 10th, a number of our members rode to DeSoto, Missouri to visit the traveling wall. Comments from those who went echo the sentiment behind the saying, "I touched the wall... and it touched me".
So this page of photos does not contain any of my usual "captions"... but it carries with it all of my respect for those have, for all those who have, do, and will serve.
And a heart-felt...THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE!
